6k for a misdemeanor charge is insane. Smh. I guess he only deals with rich clients

Response from owner

When Victor called, I was on my way to court and still took the time to listen carefully to the details of his case so I could properly evaluate his situation. After reviewing what he told me, I explained the legal strategy I would pursue — including filing a Motion to Suppress and a Motion to Dismiss where appropriate. I also made clear that if those motions were denied, the fee included preparing for and conducting a jury trial. A strong criminal defense requires time, preparation, legal research, courtroom experience, and a willingness to take a case to trial if necessary. My fee reflects the level of work and commitment involved in fully litigating a case — not simply negotiating a quick plea. I have spoken at national conferences on how to try a case due to my abilities and winning record. Every client has the right to choose the lawyer that fits their needs and budget. For those who are serious about fighting their charges and want an attorney prepared and willing to fight the prosecutor and police at every stage — including a jury trial — I am ready to do exactly that. I wish him the best and encourage anyone who is committed to defending their case to contact my office.

Called at 1035 man started yelling at me while I was crying for help. Won’t be calling back. Edit from response he was yelling like an angry father. He was talking down to me. I wasn’t ruled against. This man didn’t even try to listen just kept bellowing over me and cutting me off.

I genuinely made every attempt to help this person with their legal issue. In order to understand their problem, I asked questions so I could explain her options and why the judge ruled against her in court. Unfortunately, without your responses, I wasn’t able to fully understand or address the problems and explain how to fix the issue. I’m more than happy to help, I just need more information and answers so I can give you the correct legal answers.

My mom called for me, he screamed and yelled at her. He kept interrupting her and told her "Do you feel the need to tell me something that make this more accurate" 10/10 do not recommend! All information that was needed to see if this attorney would take the case was provided. There was nothing that was not said on our end.

This will be surprising, but I am really glad this person left his review. It's important to know what really happened and that when you call a lawyer for advice, or in this case to answer "1 question", that there is information that a lawyer needs from the caller to give the correct answer or advice. I never yelled at her on the phone. I asked her for additional information, but she refused to answer the question and give me the answer. I explained to her why I needed the information, but she refused to answer. Without that information, I cannot answer the question. The reason people call an attorney is because of our experience , training, and education. Based on that, we need to know certain facts. If you call and refuse to give the necessary information, you’re going to get bad or the wrong advice. These questions are usually very simple “yes or no” questions. If you refuse to answer, I cannot give you advice. I know most people don’t want to answer these questions because they feel it hurts their case, but the facts are not going to go away and you have to know how the attorney is going to deal with the actual facts to get the result you want. This caller was the type of case that I do not take. I nicely explained why I needed the information and she obviously took it the wrong way. Once I finally got her to answer the questions I had for her, I told her exactly how to address her issue and gave her the phone number to do so. Hopefully, this helps anyone calling for help whether for an attorney or any other issue, the person you call whether a plumber or AC repair needs the information to get you the help you need. The question may not seem important to you, but it makes all the difference in the world to the help you need.

Extremely bad choice even for a consultation. I went to his office that has only one parking spot and he is surrounded my other law firms. I went inside and his office which is in shambles and most of the lights were off. Once I told him I was going to enter a not guilty plee he LOST IT. Very rude and tries to be combative. All he wanted to do was get $5000 to enter plee deal for me. Wow he even did the used car salesman routine on me and reminded me of one. He makes his money from doing no work and just plee deals which the prosecutor does. Oh by the way my public defender had the charges dropped this week. Do not go here for a positive outcome!

This person was never a client. This person is using an alias and not their real name. That way you cannot look up their case on the clerk’s website and see what they were charged with or their prior record. Today, I posted pictures of my office to show what my office looks like. Everyone tells me my office looks amazing. You can judge his opinion/review on that fact alone. There is plenty of parking spots in the front and back of the office. There is also parking on the street. He must have me confused with another attorney and their office. I am not afraid to try any case and I am constantly litigating and trying cases. Again, this person is not being honest with you. My reputation at the courthouse is a fighter who goes above and beyond for my clients. The public defender did not get his charges dropped. Because he did not use his real name, my guess is that the prosecutor had a problem with his case and decided not to file charges. For example, a domestic violence case that was dropped because the alleged victim refused to cooperate with the prosecutor. The public defender would not have been involved at all. I also cannot tell you if the fee he said was quoted is accurate because he is using an alias. I don’t know what his charges were or any priors he may have which would explain the fee. He appears to be upset because I would not take his case for a fee he could afford. Many people get mad for some reason when the fee is higher than they expect, and feel entitled to have an attorney represent them for free. I am happy that his charges were dropped, but why he would leave a bad review when he was not a client and has no basis for the review. Compare his description of my office with the photos and judge for yourself.

Individual called for a phone consultation. He would not answer my questions or listen to me, so I told him I could not help him. His cousin called back immediately and apologized. I spoke to the cousin at length and he was very happy with the advice I gave him. His cousin was willing to listen and answer questions that were necessary to give legal advice. When you call an attorney for a consultation or advice on your case, the attorney needs to ask specific questions to know what legal issues you may have in your case. Lawyers are trained on the Rules of Evidence, case law, and have experience with your type of case. If you do not answer the questions, we cannot advise you properly. The question may seem odd to you, but can be very important in the defense to your case. If you just want to talk non-stop and tell the lawyer your side of the incident and then say “The police can’t do that, right?” is pointless. That approach will not get you the advice you need to start fighting your charge. The questions a lawyer asks are important to give you proper legal advice.
